As founder of 43degrees Design Collective and Presidential Gourmet Fine Catering, Peter Carruthers has over 30 years of experience in producing and designing events and catered parties including private dine-arounds, museum tours, funky gallery events and sophisticated themed parties. He has created the look and feel of literally thousands of events – both internationally and across Canada – for numerous corporations, private individuals, associations and Foundations. He sets standards that reflect quality and care, creating spectacular memories for guests, based on just the right balance of style and substance in event design. From Hugo Boss to BB King and from CAMH to TELUS, Peter has a solid reputation for entertaining ideas that have resulted in some of the coolest parties on record.
After selling his company 2014, Peter has now joined the Aga Khan Museum as Commercial Director, working in multiple arenas including event catering, the McEwan operated Diwan Restaurant and the Museum retail environments to assist in developing a five start hospitality destination for corporate, wedding and special events requiring an inspired and visually stunning venue.
